Holy mother of God, Blessed Virgin and now underground drag icon: Andrew Burt's celestial alter ego "Virgin Xtravaganzah" came to Hong Kong to open Happy Paradise's events programme for 2017.

With a two night takeover of May Chow's latest project, the Neo Chinese psychedelic getaway- Happy Paradise, Virgin Xtravaganzah, London's beloved cult drag star, performed an intimate full length show and hosted a night at Happy Paradise that brought their act to the heart of Happy Paradise with performances throughout the night.

Taking the inspiration from New York and London's performance hosted parties mainly found in the gay or underground scene, these monthly hosted night's create an inclusive polysexual space open for people of all genders, ethnicities and sexualities to come together and have a care free time, a core belief in Happy Paradise's ethos. Through the medium of creative expression, Happy Paradise creates an atmosphere for those who love art, whether that be through performance, music or visual curation.
